Abstract

This report presents the major findings from a mid-term evaluation of the Rural Economic Diversification (RED) project and recommendations to assist USAID and the implementing partner in making mid-course adjustments as required (see scope of work in Annex A). The project is one of three projects that together contribute to USAIDs Strategic Objective: Increased sustainable economic opportunities for the poor. The RED project is being implemented by Abt Associates under a cost reimbursable plus fixed fee task order under the Plus Indefinite Quantity (IQC) contracts.
